We're taking a little family break so I won't be posting for the next few weeks...It's time to have some quality family time and to recharge the battery for September. ...not too far this time, we're on our way to London tomorrow to attend Pulse a trade show were we are going to present our new collection and our paper cut maps of Paris and London. They will be available on our website from mid June...not long now:)

Famille Summerbelle is celebrating its First Birthday! It all started a year ago, in London. It was all very new to us: trading, website, selling online, trade shows...but it soon made sense. So we haven't made a post for a while for which we apologise but I think we've a good excuse..... we've made our final big move for a while, shipping ourselves lock stock to France. We spent a few months traveling around the world hoping that we decide with certainty on somewhere to live, but you know it's a tough...

The car is loaded (actually over-loaded), all the new products have turned up and we're on our way to London for Kids Modern this weekend. We fought our way around the world over luggage. I think we take too much, Julie defends every last item as essential. There is no regular winner. Whilst in Japan we put together a package of bits and bobs to send home - trying to keep our suitcases as light as possible. Well that was two months ago, and after a long boat journey our big box arrived safe and sound in England last week. One of the great things about our trip is that coming home...

Wow! this is also a huge honour to be mentioned in Vogue Living. A big Thank you to Danika for featuring our hand-screen printed "Kissing Birds".We were traveling between Australia and New Zealand when we've been ask to send some pictures of the wallpaper and it's so nice to come back home and get a copy in the post!

It was such a lovely surprise to come back home and discover a parcel from our friend Takako. The envelop was covered with very cute 'Hello Kitty' stamps and inside a book on Chiyogami papers: wonderful decorative Japanese patterns, perfect for inspiration. Thank you so much Takako!
