Celebrating Spring with a New Paper Cut Bouquet & Fauna & Flora Collection

As Spring arrives, it brings a fresh wave of inspiration for my work, and this season, I’m excited to share a special project in the making—a hand-cut bouquet that celebrates the beauty of nature. Drawing inspiration from Dutch still life flower paintings and the vibrant blooms I bring into my home each week from Amsterdam's wonderful florists, this new paper cut promises to capture the essence of Spring in every delicate detail.

I’ve always been drawn to the intricate beauty of florals. Inspired by the timeless Dutch floral still life art, I’m currently working on this large bouquet paper cut that brings these delicate, natural forms to life through paper. It’s a slow process, one cut at a time, as I carefully craft each petal, stem, and leaf. The final piece will be an intricate celebration of Spring's bounty.

I replace immense joy in working with paper to create something that feels as alive as the flowers themselves. With each snip, I am reminded of how much inspiration nature provides. And that’s why I’m so excited to share this piece with you soon.
