New! Bamboo Circus Collection

A beautiful grass plant that may just take over the world and save us from plastic! Bamboo is fast becoming the best possible choice for so many household products and today we’re very proudly introducing the first bamboo products to Famille Summerbelle.

Bamboo Circus is a collection of bamboo tableware designed by Famille Summerbelle exclusively for our lovely friends at ENGEL. in the Netherlands.

It was a really enriching experience to work with Sabien from ENGEL. She is such a lovely person! We both share the same love of colours, bold designs and the importance of sustainability for our products.

To introduce the new Bamboo Circus collection we were very happy to throw a colourful party at home together with our friend Esther from Babyccino and all the children.

The collection includes:

2 box sets including a plate, bowl and cup. One features a pretty cool guitarist bunny and the second a cheeky bear cycling on his tricycle.

6 colourful plates and 6 cups each with its own pattern and featuring adorable characters such as the horse, the elephant and the lion.

1 large cake plate perfect for displaying cakes and petits-fours at parties or just to use as a tray in your kitchen.

This bamboo collection is perfect for parties, to take out for picnics or just as wonderful for every day use at home. It can be used for hot and cold dishes and is dishwasher safe.

Each set is packed in beautiful (recycled) packaging.

A few little known facts about Bamboo and just how wonderful it actually is:
Bamboo is the fastest growing plant in the world which makes it one of the most sustainable materials available
Bamboo releases 30% more oxygen into the atmosphere and absorbs more carbon dioxide compared to other plants, so it’s good for the eco-system
Virtually every part of the plant is used to make all sorts of products. Little or no waste!
No fertilizer, pesticides, or herbicides are needed to grow it so no nasty bi-products
